Day of the Dead festivities were back in full force in Dallas as crowds lined up to watch ‘coffin racers’ kick things into motion after a two-year hiatus on Saturday.
Spooky makeup and getups were in full abundance as racers were pushed down Hickory Street in ‘neck-breaking’ speed.
“People put a lot of work into these vehicles and it’s just a really good time especially for the kids,” said a spectator William Morris.
First held in October 2012, the coffin race has become one of the most popular events of the festival.
