Christmas festival started in the coastal Lebanese city of Batroun on Saturday. Hundreds gathered for the opening of the festival at the Christmas market.
Footage shows residents enjoying the Christmas atmosphere in the city’s old town, festive decorations and Santa Claus giving presents to people.
’”Batroun is a beautiful city, and we have increased our activities, as we did last year in Batroun Capital de Noel festival. This is the second year, and the success is very great. About sixty kiosk came from all Lebanese regions and all our activity is free and so are all people, equal,’” said Estfan Jamal, a resident.
“This is the beginning of the month of Christmas, and the atmosphere is very nice, and we were surprised by this, but the weather is wonderful,’” told another resident.
