Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) ministerial meeting kicked off on Thursday in Lodz, addressing the Russian offensive in Ukraine.
It is the first high-level meeting of its kind since the start of the war in Ukraine.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was banned by Poland, the current chair of the OSCE, from entering the country. The decision is 2unacceptable and provocative”, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Moscow has participated in the OSCE since the Soviet Union signed the organisation’s first agreement in 1975.
