Thousands of football fans gathered outside Stadium 974 in Doha on Wednesday night as Poland and Argentina went head-to-head in their last game of the World Cup group stage.
Argentina fans were seen singing, dancing and beating drums outside the stadium ahead of the decisive game, which could have sent either side crashing out of the tournament.
A smaller group of apprehensive Polish fans were also seen outside Stadium 974, covered in red and white.
The Group C match ended with a 2-0 victory to Argentina, with both goals hitting the net in the second half. The Albiceleste secured their place at the top of Group C and will precede to the knockout stages.
Despite being outclassed by the Argentinian squad, Poland would also make it to the round of 16, having recorded a superior goal difference to Mexico.
