A cake in the shape of a giant World Cup trophy displayed at Aiswaryaa’s Bakery in Ramanathapuram, in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu, is attracting costumers tooth premises, as footage filmed on Sunday shows.
The cake was reportedly baked using 260 eggs and 60 kg of sugar, with a total weight of 85 kg (187 pounds) and 1,7 metres (5.5 feet) in height.
The cake, displayed at the entrance of the bakery, became a place for curious and selfie lovers.
S. Ramanujam, Cake Supervisor at Aiswaryaa’s Bakery, explained that the cake “will be displayed here till the tournament is over, we will make use of the cake after the finals, this cake can not be consumed, that’s why we are showing it.”
It took four days to complete the cake, with workers spending 10 hours a day shaping it.
