Colombia: Hundreds flock streets to hold Int’l Day for Elimination of Violence against Women *EXPLICIT*


Hundreds of women marched on the streets of Bogota for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on Friday.

Footage features women holding flags, chanting slogans, wearing purple masks and scarves, and showing placards with mottos such as ‘Vulva revolution’ and ‘Feminism antispecist against patriarchal’. Policemen were seen observing the event.

So far in 2021, 526 sex-based hate crimes have been committed, according to the Colombian Femicide Observatory.
