Hundreds of football fans welcomed the Portuguese national team as they arrived in Doha on Friday evening.
Crowds of fans with Portuguese flags and scarf were seen chanting outside of the team’s hotel to give a warm welcome to Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates.
“We must see the man, the King of football, the Legend: Cristiano Ronaldo. We are very happy, this moment is a golden chance, we have to use it,” one fan explained.
Portugal will kick off its world cup against Ghana on Wednesday.
