Footage shows Grad MLRS systems firing, as well as servicemen handling the equipment. The date and location of filming have not been disclosed.
“The Grad MLRS squadron received data from artillery reconnaissance means and units of unmanned aerial vehicles, implemented advance, went into firing position and struck at the identified enemy’s firing positions and objects,” the ministry said.
Ukrainian Defence Ministry reported strikes from the Russian side during daily briefing on Friday.
“During the day, the enemy launched five missile strikes and carried out more than 10 shellings from rocket launchers,” the report says.
Moscow launched the military offensive in Ukraine in late February after recognising the independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
Kiev denounced the Russian action, and Zelensky imposed martial law throughout the country, announcing a general mobilisation.
