At least four people were killed in the town of Volnyansk, Zaporizhzhya Region, after reported missile strikes on the city.
Rescuers alongside volunteers could be seen salvaging the bodies and clearing the rubble, with work continuing into the night.
According to authorities, three rockets destroyed civilian structures in the town, including a two-storey residential building.
