Hundreds of protesters gathered at Milan’s Arco della Pace in Milan on Saturday to express their support for Ukraine amid its ongoing conflict with Russia.
The rally which was organised by the leader of centrist Azione Carlo Calenda saw protesters carry signs and banners condemning Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Moscow launched its military offensive in Ukraine in late February after recognising the independence of the DPR and LPR.
Kiev denounced the Russian action, and President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed martial law throughout the country, announcing a general mobilisation.
