Drones illuminate skies to inaugurate iconic Lusail Boulevard ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cup – Market Subset News

Dozens of colourful drones illuminated the skies in Lusail as Lusail Boulevard had been inaugurated on Friday ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Footage features a light show by illuminated drones, as well as the boulevard charmingly decorated with flags of countries from around the world. Many visitors can be seen posing for and taking photos.

The Darb Lusail Festival, which will run on November 3–5 marks the opening of Lusail Boulevard, one of Qatar’s most prominent new tourist attractions with a capacity of 60,000 visitors per day.

It is reportedly the closest entertainment and tourism destination to the Lusail World Cup Stadium, which will host the opening and final matches. Due to its proximity and various services, it will be a destination for visitors offering entertainment, restaurants, and shops.

“There will be big events in this new landmark during the World Cup as it is close to Lusail Stadium, and there will be a great turnout because the public will visit this area, especially since this area has many services such as shops and restaurants. Not to mention the entertainment for FIFA Qatar 2022 visitors,” a Qatar Tourism Department representative said.

Earlier today, the government of Qatar officially announced its preparedness for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in terms of security, health, entertainment, and transportation.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 will be held in Qatar between November 20 and December 18, 2022.
