Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic attended the joint military exercise of the Serbian armed forces ‘Manoeuvre 2022’, at the Pasuljanska Livada training ground, on Thursday.
Vucic, who was accompanied by Defense Minister Milos Vucevic, was seen greeting soldiers before overseeing the military exercise. After the drills, Vucic held a meeting with his generals.
Vucic explained that his discussions with Serbia’s military commanders were necessary due to a lack of arms supplies from both the ‘East’ and the ‘West’.
“We are now in a specific situation and that’s why I had a meeting here today because we have to produce everything by ourselves. We have nowhere to import equipment from. In the West, whatever we paid for, we have to wait even two years sometimes to deliver to us. They don’t care, they can do that. And the equipment we bought on the East cannot reach us because nobody wants to permit that equipment to fly to us,” the Serbian President said.
“Looks like our ‘friends and brothers’ are so good to us that all of them, but us, can have the weapons,” he added.
