Hundreds of colourful drones light up NYC skies to mark 10th anniversary of Candy Crush game – Market Subset News

A fleet of 500 drones illuminated the New York skyline over the Hudson river in a huge promotion for the mobile video game Candy Crush Thursday night.

Footage filmed on Thursday features heart-shaped onjects, candy balls, flowers, and stars made by drones, which look like candy items from the game itself. A hashtag ’10 years of fun’ also appeared.

The drones were flying 400 feet above the ground. They conducted almost a 15-minute demonstration. The light show was organised to mark the 10th anniversary of Candy Crush Saga.

Since its development, Candy Crush has been one of the most widely played mobile phone video games. The game involves picking and exploding candy, both loved by children and adults.
