At least two people were killed in Chennai after flash flooding triggered by torrential monsoon rains, as seen in footage captured on Friday.
Roads and residential areas were inundated with floodwater causing major disruption and reducing public transport to a standstill.
Chennai and its suburbs are currently in the grips of the Northeast monsoon and saw record rainfall on Tuesday.
