Wuhan residents underwent COVID-19 tests as a part of the lockdown to tackle an outbreak of the virus nearly three years after the detection of respiratory disease in the Chinese city.
The lockdown saw stores, districts, streets and malls in Wuhan blocked and sealed after China announced a third straight day of up to 1,000 newly-infected cases.
Wuhan, where the first case of COVID-19 was detected in 2019 has registered around 240 cases over the past 14 days.
According to the local authorities, more than 800,000 people were ordered, as a preventative measure, not to leave their homes until October 30.
