Footage filmed on Friday features the aftermath of a missile attack in the southern Ukrainian port city of Mykolaiv which left one person injured.
According to Mykolaiv’s Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych, the shelling destroyed an administration building and a bakery were destroyed.
“The three-story administrative building was completely destroyed. Nearby, the blast wave and debris hit a new building. Since the very morning, utility workers have been cleaning up the road and pedestrian areas from debris and garbage,” Sienkevych wrote on his Telegram.
According to local media, citing military administration, an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system was used to strike the city.
Moscow is yet to comment on shelling in Mykolaiv.
Russia launched the military offensive in Ukraine in late February after recognising the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics’ independence.
Kiev denounced the Russian action and President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed martial law throughout the country, announcing a general mobilisation.
