Roscosmos Progress 82, a Russian resupply spacecraft, successfully docked at the International Space Station on Thursday.
The mission is delivering supplies to the ISS and features the first use of the ‘single-turn’ scheme allowing for a fast, automatic rendezvous and docking. It is the 174th flight of a Progress spacecraft.
This resupply mission is expected to be one of the last Russian spacecraft missions as the Russian Federation is expected to remove itself from the ISS beyond 2024, despite ongoing negotiations.
