Thousands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters gathered in Gujranwala on Saturday as former Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the massive rally.
The PTI chief said he will accept the court’s decision in the contempt case filed against him.
“What was the reason, when I said I would opt for legal action [against the judge]. Let me tell you the reason. My chief of staff sent me a message [from prison] that he was tortured, sexually tortured. What was left to say then? He is my chief of staff, should not I react on that?” he said.
Khan’s comments came after Islamabad High Court (IHC) decided earlier this week that it will indict former PM in a contempt case for threatening a female judge.
